TeamCounter help: create, share and export tally lists

First steps

Start with the online tally counter when you need a flexible shared counter. Use the attendance list for sessions, the drink list for simple tabs, the score counter for points and the value counter when each click should calculate a value.

After creating a list, add entries and keep the management link in a safe place. The tool does not require registration, so the private link is the key to future editing.

View links and management links

The view link is read-only and useful for people who only need the current status. The management link allows changes, exports, resets and new entries. Share it only with people who are allowed to update the list.

If you want to show a list on a monitor or projector, use the display view. It removes unnecessary controls and keeps the values easy to read.

Export, print and PDF

Dedicated tools include CSV export for further processing in spreadsheet software. If you need a PDF, open the browser print dialog and choose “Save as PDF”. This keeps TeamCounter lightweight while still allowing simple documentation.

Privacy and safe use

Please do not enter sensitive personal data. TeamCounter is intended for simple counting tasks and not for confidential health, HR, legal or financial records. First names, initials or neutral labels are usually enough. Read the privacy policy for more details.

Common problems

The link cannot be edited

You probably opened the view link. Use the management link if you are allowed to make changes.

The list is not found

Check whether the full link was copied. A missing character in the ID or token can make the link invalid.

Several people are updating at once

Short loading failures may be retried. Changes are not sent again automatically; if an update fails, check the current value before trying again.
