Guide and practical tips
Everything important at a glance
Clearly structured, easy to understand and tailored to this TeamCounter tool.
Create and share an online drink list
Create a digital drink list for an office, shared home or club. Each row has a label, quantity and price per entry. TeamCounter calculates row totals and the overall total. Use separate rows for each person and item when prices differ.
Online drink list instead of paper
A paper drink list is easy to start but hard to share and easy to lose. A digital drink list stays available by link and can be updated from different devices.
TeamCounter is not accounting software. It is a lightweight drink counter for simple, transparent tabs.
People, prices and totals
Each row has one price. For different items, use labels such as “Person A – Water” and “Person A – Juice”. The counter calculates quantity × row price and an overall total; rows can be assigned to a person, and the person overview then shows the amount for each person.
The EUR 4.10 example uses four rows for water, juice and coffee. The drink-list template provides a sample table, CSV and blank print form.
Create a drink list and settle simple totals
Create a new drink list, add the people in your group and count drinks or items by click. At the end, review totals, download a CSV file or save the print view as a PDF. Both files are snapshots: later clicks do not update them, so download them again when needed.
The tool stays simple enough for clubs, offices, shared apartments and parties without installing an app or setting up a full cash register system.
For clubs, offices, shared apartments and parties
The drink list is useful for club evenings, team kitchens, shared apartments, private parties and small groups that need a simple online tab.
Whether a spreadsheet or an online list suits your group better is compared in the guide Excel or online tally list.
On a phone you can keep the same list with the tally counter app for Android.
Amount for each person across several rows
If you assign the rows “Water” with 3 × €1.50 and “Coffee” with 2 × €2.00 to one person, the person overview shows 2 rows, 5 entries and an amount of €8.50 for that person. The amount is the sum of their row amounts to the cent; rows without a person are listed under “Not assigned”, and the overall total of the list stays unchanged.
TeamCounter never merges rows with the same name on its own. It only suggests them, and they are combined only after your click. As soon as assignments exist, the CSV export also contains a block for each person.

Questions and answers
Can I create a drink list for free?
Yes, create a digital drink list without registration and share it by link.
Can I set a price per entry?
Yes, each row has its own price per entry. TeamCounter calculates the row total and the overall total; rows can be assigned to a person to show that person’s amount.
Are totals calculated automatically?
Yes, TeamCounter shows the row total for every row and the overall total for the whole list. If one person has several rows, for example for different prices, you can assign them to that person; the person overview then shows their amount.
Is it a drink tally list?
Yes, the drink list works like a simple digital drink tally list with prices, totals, CSV export and a print view.
Can I export the list?
Yes, export CSV data or save a PDF through your browser print dialog.
Do I need an app?
No, the drink list runs directly in the browser.
Does TeamCounter add up the drinks of one person automatically?
Yes, once you explicitly assign the rows to a person: the person overview then shows the rows, the sum of the quantities and the amount across all of that person’s rows. Rows with the same name are not merged by TeamCounter itself; it only suggests them. Without an assignment the list calculates per row: count times price gives the row total, and all row totals give the overall total.
Can I use different drink prices?
Yes, create a separate row for each price, for example "Person A - water" at 0.50 and "Person A - coffee" at 1.00. Every row carries its own price per entry.
Is TeamCounter a complete bar or payment system?
No, the drink list counts and calculates; it does not take payments. It does not replace a cash register, a payment system, stock management or club management software.
Can I analyse the drink list?
Yes, on desktop the list shows quantity and value per row and the development in the chosen period. If a price changes later, earlier entries keep the price that applied at the time.
How do I assign a row to a person?
Add the people in the person overview and choose the matching person in each row; “Edit” lets you change the name, price and person of a row later. Only people who may edit the list can assign rows. Rows without a person are listed under “Not assigned”.
What does the CSV file contain when people are assigned?
The existing columns stay the same. As soon as assignments exist, the export adds a block with person, rows, entries and amount; without assignments the file stays as before.
