Need to share this list?

The online version stores the list on TeamCounter and gives you a view link, a management link and access from several devices.

Open the online version

The local attendance list at a glance

When only one person records attendance, the local version is the most data-minimal option: names and status never leave the device.

Participants and status

You add participants, mark them present or absent and see the totals. A saved session goes into the local history of this list.

No shared access

A second person cannot open the local list because no link is generated. For coaching teams with several authorised people the online attendance list is the right choice.

Avoid especially sensitive details

Even without server transmission, reasons for absence, health information or assessments do not belong in the list. A first name or an abbreviation is usually enough.

Overview

Create and share an online attendance list

TeamCounter is a free online tool for creating, sharing and updating attendance lists directly in the browser. Add participants, mark them present or absent, save sessions and export the data as CSV. It works as a lightweight attendance register for clubs, courses, training sessions, meetings and small events.

Guide

What is an online attendance list?

An online attendance list replaces paper sheets, chat messages or files when several people need to track a session. Create a list, add participants and mark who is present or absent for each date.

It works for training sessions, clubs, courses, meetings, workshops and small events. TeamCounter is not a legal time tracking, HR, school or medical record system.

Workflow

Add participants, save dates and keep history

New participants start absent. Mark those attending as present, choose the date and save it. Saving the session is a separate action that creates a history snapshot; saving again adds another entry.

The attendance guide walks through three sessions and explains corrections and history limits. Prepare with the attendance template, CSV and print view.

In the browser

Online attendance register instead of a paper sheet

For simple sessions, a shared link is often easier than a file or paper attendance roster. Several people can open the same current state, and the list works on phones, tablets and desktop computers.

Browser & app

Attendance list in your browser or Android app

Start an attendance list directly in your browser. If you use TeamCounter regularly on Android, the official TeamCounter Android app is also available. Both options support simple attendance lists; TeamCounter is not intended for confidential HR, school, health or legal records.

Examples

For clubs, courses, training and meetings

Use the attendance list for training days, small courses, workshops, team meetings, group sessions, volunteer lists or recurring appointments. First names, initials or neutral labels are usually enough for simple workflows.

Privacy

Please avoid sensitive data

Please do not enter sensitive personal data. TeamCounter is designed for simple counting tasks and not for confidential health, school, HR or legal records.
