  1. Create two counters per item at 0: “Cones issued” and “Cones returned”. Repeat for bibs.
  2. One +1 under issued means exactly one unit issued. A return adds 1 only to the returned counter.
  3. Subtract returns from issues: 8 − 6 = 2 cones and 12 − 12 = 0 bibs still out.
  4. Check both numbers before correcting. Use the view link for an overview and management access only at the issue desk.

Limits: Calculate differences yourself; TeamCounter does not link these counters automatically. More returns than issues indicates an input error or an unresolved opening balance. There is no stock control, reservation system, loan contract or individual issue log.
