# TeamCounter

> TeamCounter.net provides free browser tools for tally lists, scores, drinks, attendance and value counters, plus a knockout tournament mode, without a TeamCounter account. Online lists can be shared by link; local lists remain in the current browser. Mode-specific desktop analytics dashboards complement the counting tools.

- Official section: https://teamcounter.net/en/
- Operator and developer: Maximilian Holstein / Holstein Tools.
- Public tools are intended for teams, clubs, offices, groups, events and everyday use.
- Online lists are stored on TeamCounter servers and can provide a view link and a management link. Current server values and collaborative changes require an internet connection.
- View links allow reading; management links allow editing. Anyone who has a link receives its associated access rights. Individual list links are not intended for public documentation and are not listed here.
- Local offline browser lists remain in the current browser. They do not create a TeamCounter server record or a shareable list link and are not automatically transferred to the native Android app.
- All five counting modes provide a list-specific analytics dashboard below the open list, with metrics, a timeline and charts. The analytics section is displayed in desktop browsers at a width of 1024 pixels or more.
- The timeline starts with the first change after analytics was introduced; earlier changes are not reconstructed retrospectively. For local lists, the history also remains in the browser.
- Every list type and the tournament mode provide CSV export. The tally list exports CSV online and offline and has its own print view, which can be printed or saved as PDF through the browser’s print dialog.
- In the drink list, rows can be explicitly assigned to a person; the person overview then shows the amount for each person in euros. Rows with matching names are not merged automatically.
- The view link and display view of an online score or online tournament pick up saved changes without reloading, usually within about one second. Simultaneous live connections are limited (currently 6 per website); when all are in use, the display updates about every 10 seconds. The other list types have no live transmission.
- The display view offers light and dark mode and, where the browser supports it, fullscreen. Local scores and local tournaments show it in a second tab or window of the same browser, even without internet access; another device needs an online list.
- The tournament mode is a separate tool for knockout tournaments with 3 to 16 participants, online and offline. It is not a counting mode, has no analytics dashboard and is not part of the Android app; there is no third-place match, group stage or double elimination.
- TeamCounter is not accounting software, an HR system, a legal-records platform, enterprise CRM, or comprehensive club/project-management software.
- TeamCounter is not intended for confidential, health-related, political or otherwise sensitive data.
- A native Android app is also available on Google Play. It is free to install, contains ads and offers optional in-app purchases. The app and browser tools have their own feature sets; consult the app information and store listing for current app features, prices and device compatibility.
- Editorially updated: 2026-10-21.
- Scope: Public pages under https://teamcounter.net/en/. This language-specific llms.txt is the more specific entry point for that path; the root file provides the language index.
